CITADEL
Blending an array of vibrant styles including Latin, hip-hop, funk, ska and reggae - CITADEL are an exciting 7 piece band from Northamptonshire, dedicated to making you move your feet.
After hearing the music of The Cat Empire lead singer and percussionist, Matthew Churcher, sought out like-minded musicians to write an eclectic mix of feel good music that would push their songwriting, soloing and groove both as individual musicians and as a group.
The result is Citadel, a stronghold of true musicians playing music from the heart.
Their debut album 'Last Tango in Paradise' was released in 2018.
Subsequently, BBC Music Introducing invited them to play on the
BBC Music Introducing Stage at Latitude Festival.
Citadel continues to write and gig sporadically across the U.K

BRANWELL
Branwell met during the National Theatres/Bristol Old Vics co-production of Jane Eyre, directed by Sally Cookson.
Alongside playing the music from the show (composed by Benji Bower) Alex, Matt & Dave routinely jammed whilst on the road to keep their skills sharp and creative. What grew from the tour was a collection of songs and a close musical connection.
The origin of the name pays homage to how they met, Branwell Brontë, the only brother of the Brontë sisters.
