Following on from their debut album launch 'Last Tango in Paradise'  CITADEL were invited to open the BBC Music Introducing Stage at Latitude Festival.

Blending an array of vibrant styles including Latin, hip-hop, funk, ska and reggae - CITADEL are an exciting 7 piece band from Northamptonshire, dedicated to making you move your feet. Will you follow for fortress?

 

 

After hearing the music of The Cat Empire, lead singer and percussionist, Matthew Churcher, sought out like-minded musicians to write an eclectic mix of feel good music that would push their songwriting, soloing and groove both as individual musicians and as a group.  

The result is Citadel, a stronghold of true musicians playing music from the heart.
