Following in the footsteps of his grandfather, Cody Jackson is trying to bury the ghosts of his childhood and forge a career in the music industry. As his star rises and pressure mounts he slips into old habits and risks losing everything.

Redemptive, raw and fast-paced, this new play explores the realities of London’s gang culture, the strength of family, and the enduring power of music.

Developed over a decade of working with young people and witnessing a rise in knife crime, Matthew Churcher & Oliver Kaderbhai finally wrote the script during lockdown. After some feedback from Simon Stephens, a subsequent draft was written and the script secured Arts Council Funding to further develop the project.

If you are interested in helping develop this project further, please get in touch and we can share a script & R&D footage with you.
